(ha! that totally rhymed, and totally by accident. I love matchy matchy!)
Today after work I'm taking that long 5.5 hour drive down to Charleston to visit my big sister Rachel and her family. We might not be sisters by blood, but we are family in every way that counts (we are also the only brunettes in my fabulous sorority family, the Ellsworth family. Brunettes UNITE!). I know that any time we spend together is a guaranteed good time. That is just how it is with Rachel and has been from the very beginning. Eleven years ago she took me out for Goodberry's and we have been getting into mischief ever since. Our visits have changed a bit now that she has two young'uns, but that just means that now I am little sis to Rachel and Aunt KK to little Jack and baby Will. I can't wait to spend the weekend with them! I'm sure when I get back I'll have some stories to tell... especially since Jack's favorite thing to do is bounce on my bed at 7am yelling "KK! Wake up!" (and you all know I am NOT a morning person). Here's to good times and great friends, hope your weekend is great!
(oh, and here's hoping Dad survives taking care of my kitties... the last time he looked after them was when they were getting their medicine, and he fell victim to Gabby's karate chops. She is slowly beginning to forgive him, and actually lets him pick her up again now. We'll see what happens when I'm not there though... )
